And just like that, another season for Cincinnati wedding photographers has passed! Thank you so much to all of my 2019 couples. Every year I set new professional and creative goals and this one was really magical. In 2019 I wanted to really seek out clients who understood my vision and encouraged me to just go for it. My brides this year wanted to feel real and portray natural beauty. Combining nature, architecture and the things around us we were able to really tell the story of each venue and wedding day. You’ll notice a few staple locations for me including a few Funky’s venues like The Pinecroft at Crosley Estate and The Transept. Lots of weddings in downtown and in OTR including Rhinegeist, 21C, Hotel Covington, and of course lots of intimate backyard affairs. For me it’s not so much about the venue, but finding beautiful light and creating a feel for the day. Another big goal this season was to include lots and lots of family moments, amazing expressions, and heartfelt sentiment. I like to take time to really experience moments like mom sharing grandmother’s ring, funny toasts from siblings, and a first look with all of your best friends. I work with couples to get a better understanding about wedding timing and create realistic expectations for the day. Taking that another step further each new bride in 2020 will receive my new all-inclusive wedding planning guide filled with FAQ’s, tips, and my ideal wedding timing for amazing photos. My new goal for next year is to have each bride thinking like a photographer!
